Somerset Hills Memorial Park performs not only the cremation but offers a variety of cremation memorial choices. The crematory is modern, clean and professionally operated by a staff of four certified crematory operators, that are held to the highest standards. When planning ahead or at the time of need it is your choice what crematory to use. At Somerset Hills Memorial Park, we can accommodate many different cremation services and religious traditions. A cremation service can last from just a few minutes or up to two hours depending on your needs. Many families who choose cremation choose Somerset Hills because of the chapel and crematory on site, making it easier for family and loved ones to participate in the service.
Cremation is not the final disposition of human remains. What to do with the remains and where to keep them is often the question raised by families. Placing the remains where generations of family members can visit and remember is a beautiful way to honor those who have gone before us.
Our offerings include inside glass front niches, where a beautiful urn, a photo and trinkets special to your loved one can provide lasting memories. Stained glass backgrounds of the Barnegat lighthouse and nature scenes enhance the columbarium rooms. Niche sizes vary and can accommodate one to three urns.
Marble or bronze front niches, stately and dignified, are located both inside the mausoleum and outside nestled within the atrium. Mosaics of flowers and swans adorn the chapel walls and overlook the flower garden. Lettering is included in the purchase price of non-glass niches. Small medallions can be purchased for niche fronts through Somerset Hills Memorial Park.
Cost of cremation, can be tailored to your needs and financial ability. Cremation costs are reviewed annually and our prices are available by calling the office.

Urn gardens in harmony with the natural surroundings are found throughout the cemetery. Weather under a shady tree or lined with flowering plants, each urn garden is a special place for you or your loved ones to be remembered. If Grandma was a gardener, what a beautiful way to honor her memory.
Somerset Hills Memorial Park is excited to announce the development of more urn gardens in the months ahead.
